I wanted to invite you to show some support for Biking for Baseball (B4B) ! These inspiring young men are cycling coast to coast putting on the world's longest charity bike ride to ensure that all kids have access to the benefits of youth sports programs!
Starting in Seattle and surrounded by the weekend's home-opener at Safeco Field on April 13th, the five team members that comprise Biking for Baseball will bike 11,000 miles through 27 of North America's greatest cities.
Working with local youth sports and mentoring programs, most notably Big Brothers Big Sisters, they will energize communities with a baseball-themed event in every city that plays host to a Major League Baseball team. The events will engage the local communities and spread awareness about the importance of becoming positive influences in kids' lives.
Not only is B4B looking for sponsors at the moment, but they are in need of friends for support- clubs like you to stand behind the cause! Whether it's just sending them some encouragement on their facebook or twitter pages, purchasing a B4B t-shirt, or making a club donation, every bit of support helps!
As B4B will be biking to every MLB stadium you are also invited to get out on your bikes and join them for a leg of the journey... This is for an ALL-STAR cause and I encourage you to check out the website below to find out more information! You can also contact Steve Lunn at 303-888-2342 for more information.
Thanks for taking the time to learn about Biking for Baseball!
